Yellow/Green stripe belt form

 

Yellow belts with green stripe must learn this form in order to advance to green belt. The Yellow belt signifies that the student is beginning to see the light. They are starting to learn all that Taekwondo has to offer. The green stripe signifies that the student's knowledge is just beginning to sprout.

 

Ready Position

  1. Turn left 90° into walking stance, left foot forward, left hand down block.
  2. Step forward into front stance, right foot forward, right hand middle punch.
  3. Turning to the right 180° into walking stance, right foot forward, right hand down block.
  4. Step forward into front stance, left foot forward, left hand middle punch.
  5. Turn left 90° into walking stance, left foot forward, right hand inside block.
  6. Step forward into walking stance, right foot forward, left hand inside block.
  7. Turn left 90° into walking stance, left foot forward, left hand down block.
  8. Right leg front snap kick, step down in front into front stance, right foot forward, right hand high punch.
  9. Turn right 180° into walking stance, right foot forward, right hand down block.
  10. Left leg front snap kick, step down in front into front stance, left foot forward, left hand high punch.
  11. Turn left 90° into walking stance, left foot forward, left hand high block.
  12. Step forward into walking stance, right foot forward, right hand high block.
  13. Pivot counterclockwise on right foot 270° into walking stance, left foot forward, right hand inside block.
  14. Turn right 180° into walking stance, right foot forward, left hand inside block.
  15. Turn left 90° into walking stance, left foot forward, left hand down block.
  16. Right leg front snap kick, stepping down in front into walking stance, right leg forward, right hand middle punch.
  17. Left leg front snap kick, stepping down in front into walking stance, left leg forward, left hand middle punch.
  18. Right leg front snap kick, stepping down in front into walking stance, right leg forward, right hand middle punch, and YELL!

Return to ready position.
